 | Santa Branca is a pretty and peaceful small town (about 20,000 inhabitants) in São Paulo state. We're located in a valley called "Vale do Paraíba" - 49w 23s- and we're 90Km (56 mi. )away from São Paulo City and 400 km (250 mi. ) from Rio de Janeiro. Some of the major multinational companies in the country, such as GM, Ford, Volkswagen, J&J, Kodak, Ericsson, Philips, Panasonic are in neighboring cities along Paraíba Valley. Santa Branca is a hilly place known as "Cidade Presépio" which means "Nativity Scene Town", and it's cut by a beautiful river called "Rio Paraíba do Sul". The town's main activities are agriculture and cattle breeding.
